The Sleeper Car
THE SLEEPER CAR
They converted a New York City subway car into a “sleeper car,” giving New Yorkers the chance to rest their heads during a late night commute.
They set up three beds, each outfitted with a comforter, pillow, and sheets. Pajamas, sleep masks, and earplugs were also provided as part of this unauthorized free service.
The project took place on the above-ground N train in Astoria, Queens around midnight on a Sunday evening.

Commonwealth Day
THE HISTORY OF AN EMPIRE
Britain and the world celebrate Commonwealth-Day on March 12th 2012
Commonwealth of Nations, an association of the British Empire´s ex-colonies, 54 countries.
This day is not a public holiday, neither in Britain nor in any of the other 54 member nations.
But there is a display of the Queen´s flag, the Union Jack on public buildings around the world.
At Westminster Abbey, the Queen Elizabeth II makes a speech which is broadcast all over the world.She is not only Queen of England and the United Kingdom but she is also Queen of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada,Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands,Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Betize, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. These 16 countries are called the Commonwealth Realms ( a country which has The Queen as its Monarch).
