It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way--in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

There were a king with a large jaw and a queen with a plain face, on the throne of England; there were a king with a large jaw and a queen with a fair face, on the throne of France. In both countries it was clearer than crystal to the lords of the State preserves of loaves and fishes, that things in general were settled for ever.

Phras. In - Say this or say that?

  •  Should I say "phrase 1or phrase 2?
  •  Most popular-less popular.
  •  To be sure use this tool.

  • Because spell checkers only do 80% of the job.
  • If you, like me, speak English as a second language, you know that using correct spelling doesn't protect you from writing those awkward sounding lines.

No Pants Subway Ride 2012

Improve Everywhere was created in 2001 by Charlie Todd and causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places.

The No Pants Subway Ride
is annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City. The mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an international celebration of silliness. Here is an overview of the history of No Pants dating back to its inception in 2002

January 8 is the 11th Annual No Pants Subway Ride.

Train commuters in major cities worldwide will get a little cheeky Sunday as part of the annual No Pants Subway Ride that ... well ... is exactly what it says.

Pranksters will converge at train stations donned in shirts, shoes and no pants.

The only requirement is to act nonchalant - read, listen to your iPod, chat with your fellow riders - as you go about your normal business without any pants.

Dozens of major cities including London, New York, Washington, Mexico City and Tel Aviv, will take part in the rides, according to organizers Improv Everywhere.

The goal is to elicit laughs
